So true!! I'm entering new territory in every day of my sobriety. That can be very scary and at times overwhelming. My courage grows automatically each and every day simply because I don't "cop out" and use drugs. This strengthens me. This takes courage. I have learned to be more open-minded, honest and patient with myself, others and life's daily pressures. The one area of my life that jumps out where I need more courage is trust. I'm still very apprehensive about putting my trust in others COMPLETELY! I am taking steps to improve this.
