A simple prayer of gratitude
What 10 things are you most grateful for today? How will you convey your thanks to God?
1)My relationship with God 2)Sobriety 3)My family 4)My relationship with myself 5)My health 6)Serenity House 7)My Job 8)My AA family 9)My Sponsor 10)The Obsession being removed. I will try to be kind to the people in my life (Gods children). I will be part of the solution and not part of the problem. But, most of all I will try to do God's will on a daily basis and leave my will behind.
1. The care and guidance of God in my life 2. My sobriety. 3. The well being of my wife and kids. 4. My improving physical and mental health 5. The life changing power of AA and the 12 steps 6. My friendships 7. The reduction of my harmful character defects that suck the joy, happiness and peace in my life 8. My continuing desire to get better and the willingness to do the work it takes. 9. The growing peace and calmness I have been experiencing lately 10. Growing acceptance of people places and things and letting go a little bit of trying to control them.
Wow, I love your 8 & 10 Rick. And 9 is something I am really looking forward to attaining, although admittedly I've been battling with lately. At least now, I know it's a matter of when and not IF..........
